2- The day it all changed!

We went for our usual run on one of our favorite beaches.... Oh my, how much I love running leash free!!!

Then instead of heading for home, and getting my much desired dinner, we headed for town.
There we went to this huge place and got loaded into a huge vehicle, like I never saw before, filled with humans, I was the only four legged.
I never minded car trips but believe me this time I hung on for dear life for what felt like forever!
This thing is soooo noisy and often shaky, very unstable, we were like suspended up in thin air for the whole ride!!!

What a relief when we got out of the vehicle!
That is actually when it first struck me that all those humans looked .... lost! Even mine...

1- I'm just a wetnose trying to figure it out.

Born and dumped by the pier in a tiny Hawaiian Island, along with my siblings.
The local ferry captain brought us to the pound in Maui.
Got "adopted" by a hyper single mom with 3 toddlers, birds, cats and dogs... waaaay too crazy for me.
From day one I focused on the method of "The Secret", envision, envision, envision.... never gave up!
Finally it happened! Got dropped back at the pound and 5 minutes later my "new" humans adopt me!
From then on my LIFE TRANSFORMED INTO MY VISION! Hey, I LOVED every minute of it!
Running free on great beaches, swims in the open ocean with my humans, dog parks, hikes in the woods, home cooked food, shopping, car rides, visiting other humans & dogs, tons of cuddling & love. This is it, I made it!, I thought......
Then, life took a weird turn, ... not quite sure, but I suspect that, somehow we got lost!
And I have a strong suspicion that my Humans are lousy trackers, all I know is that we just keep getting further and further from my beloved home!
